The MASOC/MATSA annual joint conference is focused on preventing sexual violence through assessment, treatment and safe management of adults, adolescents and children who have sexually abused. Sexual violence affects one in 3-4 girls and one in 6-10 boys before the age of 18. Children and other vulnerable populations are harmed by a range of behaviors including sexual harassment, sexual coercion, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. This conference offers the unique insights into working with the individuals who cause the harm. In particular, these targeted populations need specific support services in their communities to live safely in their families and communities. Each day will offer both keynote presentations as well as workshops encouraging interaction between the learner and the instructor.
