There has been an increase in the number of individuals suffering from food insecurity in our community. This lack of access to healthy and nutritious food can drastically impact the health of our community members. This panel discussion will help healthcare providers learn about healthy food incentive programs, healthy eating and living, and sustainability from local food access organizations working on the ground to increase equitable food access within the community. By developing a relationship between healthcare and local food access organizations, providers can be strong advocates for their patients who are suffering from food insecurity.
